Institute of Technology and Development (ITD, http://www.itd-bg.eu) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. ITD aims at supporting national and international governmental, non-governmental and industrial organizations for applying policies and strategies related to new technologies. ITD plans, organizes and runs High-level Local and International events – Congresses, Conferences, Entrepreneurial and Authorities workshops, related to Business and ICT establishment and development. It provides market interaction and collaboration with local and international universities and research centers for the purpose of identification and development of effective innovation products and ICT systems, as well as business and ICT forums for discussion and taking decisions. Doukas School is a K-12 educational Institution, with educational and athletic facilities amongst the best in design and construction, offering to its 1,600 student body one of the finest educational and athletic programs in the country. Since 1997, Doukas School organizes the Web-based Panhellenic Student Competition LYSIAS that attracts, on average, 30,000 student participations per year. Doukas School has received many awards for the innovative practices it is implementing in the teaching process. In 2011, it was identified as Pathfinder School by Microsoft for its innovative educational practices and its potential to create scalable and replicable educational transformation that can influence schools within Greece and around the world. In 2012, it was selected as Mentor School by Microsoft, for the year 2012-2013. Lastly, Doukas School became Microsoft Case Study in 2012, for the implementation of 1:1 Computing in classroom. Doukas School participates in several EU and National R&D projects and coordinates extensive European Networks (www.schoolonthecloud.eu) under programs such as Erasmus+, Lifelong Learning Programme, Intelligent Energy Europe, EPEAEK, PAVE, LINGUA. Our key areas of interest are: Cloud-based Education, e-Pedagogy and Educational Design in Technology-Enhanced Learning, Personalized Learning, 21st Century Skills, Technology-Enhanced Learning with special emphasis on e-portfolios, Technology-Enhanced Learning through Mobile and Wireless Devices, Digital Games, Web 2.0 for Learning.

Meath Partnership is a county-wide organisation responsible for the design and implementation of local, rural and community development programmes across our region. We specialise in building the capacity of local communities through the design and implementation of a range of projects and programmes tackling persistent incidence of exclusion and disadvantage. We are a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status and employ 25 full-time staff. We are responsible for the implementation of the LEADER Rural Development Programme in our territory, and focus on improving the economic, social and cultural quality of life through the creation of sustainable rural communities in County Meath. Through the Social Inclusion Programme (SICAP), we work with marginalised individuals within the most disadvantaged communities in our region targeting those furthest from access to education, training and employment, particularly youth at the highest risk of social exclusion. In our work with adult education providers, community actors and state organisations, we foster an integrated and coordinated approach by bringing together people, groups, agencies, voluntary and statutory organisations to make a positive difference to endemic or temporary social problems and issues affecting our customers. Through the Erasmus+ Programme and will support of European funding, we work with an international network of partners to test and pilot innovative responses to pan-European educational challenges and opportunities through the development and implementation of new didactic approaches. As an organisation, we are committed to the use of creative methodologies in the provision of adult and VET education. Finally, Meath Partnership is a nationally accredited QQI training provider, and we promote and invest in the use of technology to support access to lifelong learning opportunities through the development of model programmes that demonstrate the educational effectiveness of technology amongst our clients and target groups. We deliver a variety of training and up-skilling courses aimed at improving the skills, capacity and employability of people living in County Meath.

The University of Piteşti (UPIT) is a public institution since 1962, member of the national higher education system in Romania. It is organized into 6 faculties:
- Faculty of Science, Physical Education and Informatics;
- Faculty of Theology, Letters, History and Arts;
- Faculty of Mechanics and Technology;
- Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Computers;
- Faculty of Economics and Law;
- Faculty of Education Sciences, Social Sciences and Psychology.
The University manages a total of 72 bachelor programmes and 65 master degree programmes. The third cycle, i.e. the PhD, is organized in 5 doctoral schools and 10 doctoral domains:

UPIT’s human resource consists of approx. 400 academic staff and 80 non-academic employees. UPIT has done over 100 EU financed projects (see www.cppdd.ro) in the last 15 years. The University also have over 100 cooperation agreements with prestigious universities in Europe and non-European countries and cooperation agreements with national and international research institutes.

As a predominant scientific and teaching public institution in the region, the University of Split (UNIST) has expanded during the course of the past 30 years to include eleven Faculties, one Academy of Arts and four University Departments. UNIST, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers programs for future preschool, elementary and secondary school teachers. The UNIST team members have practical skills in carrying out comprehensive assessments in the field of education. They have proven skills in designing, planning and implementing policy instruments in the field of education including development of standards, indicators and other relevant analytical tools. The UNIST team was coordinating the Erasmus+ project "Boys Reading" which focuses on using technology to promote literacy among boys with the use of Web 2.0, mobile devices, and games. Furthermore, they have proven skills in conducting analysis related to diverse educational topics and wide experience and practical skills in academic research, writing, editing and presentation of the results. Finally, the team members have capacity, flexibility and ability to work and communicate well within a team in an international and multi-cultural environment.

The University of Social Sciences (Społeczna Akademia Nauk) is one of the leading private universities in Poland. In the educational rankings, published by the influential national journals, our University is ranked very highly. There are 18 departments, including Management, Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology. Apart from the main activity, the University is a significant institution of continuing adult education (lifelong learning), offering different type of courses for adult learners, including teachers. Our research fields are directly connected with peer education, development of key competences and improving teachers’ skills. As an educational organization University of Social Sciences promotes multidisciplinary approach, bringing together researchers from a diversity of backgrounds (pedagogics, humanities, economy etc.). Our University has been involved in several EU projects targeted to school education and also focusing on collaboration with parents. Every year the ‘International Festival of Comics and Games’ takes place in our city.
