Promoting the use of comics in education is the scope of the COMMIX project. With this in mind, the project’s consortium held its second transnational partner meeting on May 22 & 23, 2017 in Nicosia, Cyprus. The partners presented their national progress on the project with respect to scientific work and dissemination activities completed.
The kick-off meeting of the project COMMIX (“Empowering Literacy in Adolescents through Creative Engagement with Comics”) was successfully completed in Athens, Greece on the 7th and 8th of November, 2016. During the two day meeting, partners had the opportunity to discuss various project outputs
CARDET participated in the academic conference hosted by KETPEE on March 18, 2017, at the University of Cyprus, by hosting a symposium on the topic of the implementation of new technologies and learning enviroments. During the symposium, CARDET discussed the significance of new forms of ICT in education,
CARDET and INNOVADE participated in the initiative of the Agios Vasileios KA School to organise an Information Day on the 14th of March. The specific objectives of the Information Day were to raise awareness in relation to racism issues and intolerance, and to promote equality and respect.
